Privacy Policy
Effective date: 19 June 2026
Mira ("the app", "we", "us") is a daily smile-practice app. This policy explains what data Mira collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because Mira collects very little.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from that provider. We use this only to create and identify your account.
- Your saved photos. When you choose to save a photo, that single image is stored in your account. Mira keeps one photo per day (a new photo for the same day replaces the previous one).
- Smile records. For each saved day we store a smile score (a number), a short coaching tip, and the date.
We do not collect your name, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or any analytics/usage tracking.
Camera and live scoring
Mira uses the front camera to score your smile in real time. The live camera frames are processed on your device to compute the score and tips — they are not uploaded or stored. Only a photo you explicitly choose to save is uploaded to your account.
How your data is stored and protected
Your account, photos, and smile records are stored using Supabase (our backend provider, which provides authentication, database, and file storage). Access is protected by per-user security rules so that only you, when signed in, can access your own photos and records. Data is transmitted over standard encrypted HTTPS connections.
Third parties
Mira shares data only with the service providers required to operate it: Google and Apple (for sign-in) and Supabase (authentication, database, and photo storage). We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. This removes your photos and all smile records from our systems. Signing out alone does not delete your data.
Data retention
We keep your data until you delete your account (or individual days, by replacing or removing them). Provider sign-in records are removed when you delete your account.
Children
Mira is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the new version at this URL.
